Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder.
• Proven experience in steel fabrication and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of safe work practices and fabrication standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
• Ability and willingness to work on construction sites when required.

• Experience fabricating craneable or lifting equipment.
• Dogging, rigging, or other construction-related tickets.
• Experience working within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld steel components to specification.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical plans.
• Perform repairs and modifications to existing equipment.
• Ensure all fabricated items meet certification, quality, and safety requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
