Job summary

Eastco Construction Solutions is seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our permanent team in South East Queensland. You will perform structural steel fabrication, MIG welding, and modular building modifications for regional and site installations.

We value experience reading drawings, reliability, and the ability to work both in workshop and on-site with occasional away-from-home work. Overtime and long-term opportunities are available with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker or Fabricator.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Able to read drawings from measurements.

Responsibilities

• Structural steel fabrication and installation
• MIG welding and general fabrication
• Modular building modifications
• Steel frames, brackets and supports
• Decks, stairs and landings
• Handrails and access structures
• Tie-down and building connection components
• Site measuring, repairs and modifications
• Reading plans and fabrication drawings
• Working alongside carpenters and installation crews
• Regional projects and working away when required
