Job summary
Express Employment Professionals in Brendale, QLD, is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator for a permanent role combining workshop fabrication with onsite maintenance. You’ll work on industrial equipment, read drawings, and contribute to modification and refurbishment projects across diverse industries.
You'll enjoy a stable daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm) with occasional overtime, competitive pay rates ($40-$50/h), and a supportive team at a long-standing engineering company.
Qualifications
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator.
- Experience in MIG, TIG and Arc welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in industrial fabrication and maintenance.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Current driver’s licence.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of industrial equipment and components.
- Maintenance and repair of material handling equipment.
- Modification and refurbishment work.
- Planned maintenance shutdowns.
- Emergency breakdown repairs.
- Installation of new equipment.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Working safely both in the workshop and onsite.
