Job summary

Pructon in Gladstone, Queensland, is seeking a Boilermaker for our workshop. This full-time role involves fabrication and welding of structural steel, installation of pipe supports, marking out for steel work, oxy cutting, and work at local sites.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm; Saturday, 6:00am – 12:00pm. The ideal candidate will hold a trade certificate, read shop drawings, and have experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or equivalent in boilermaking.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding.
• EWP and forklift licenses preferred but not essential.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of structural steel work.
• Installation of pipe supports and structural steel.
• Marking out for steel work installation.

• Working in and around local sites.
