Job summary

Greensill Farming in Bundaberg region is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our Fabrication & Machinery Team. Reporting to the Head of Facilities & Maintenance, you will perform fabrication, welding, repairs and installation across heavy equipment and agricultural machinery.

Qualifications

• Boilermaker trade qualification required.
• Welding and fabrication skills essential.
• Experience with heavy equipment or earthmoving desirable.
• Mechanical or fitting experience highly regarded.

About the Role

We’re looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join our Greensill Fabrication & Machinery Team.

Reporting to the Head of Facilities & Maintenance, you’ll work across a diverse range of agricultural and earthmoving equipment, carrying out fabrication, repairs, modifications, maintenance and installation work.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You could be fabricating a new component one day, repairing heavy equipment the next, or working on modifications that improve the way our machinery operates.

Your work will include:

• Fabrication, welding and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery
• Manufacturing and modifying components

About You

You’ll bring:

• A recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Experience working with heavy equipment, agricultural machinery or earthmoving equipment is desirable
• Mechanical or fitting experience will be highly regarded
• Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A practical, can-do approach to problem solving
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
