Our Workshop team plays an important role in keeping our fleet and operations moving, and we’re looking for a Fitter Machinist to join the team.

About the Role

  • General fitting, machining, fabrication and mechanical repairs
  • Repairing and modifying components and machinery
  • Machining parts to specification
  • Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Working across agricultural, earthmoving and workshop equipment
  • Supporting our broader farming and operations teams when required
  • Maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of equipment and projects, with plenty of variety throughout the week.

About You

  • Trade qualified as a Fitter Machinist, Fitter & Turner or similar
  • Experienced in machining, fitting and mechanical repair
  • Confident reading drawings and working to measurements and specifications
  • A practical problem-solver who enjoys finding a way to get the job done
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a team
  • Safety-focused and committed to quality workmanship
  • Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work

Experience working with agricultural, earthmoving or heavy machinery would be highly regarded.

Why Join Us?
  • Local, stable employment with a long-established Bundaberg business
  • Variety in your work - no production-line repetition
  • Work across a diverse range of agricultural, earthmoving and mechanical equipment
  • Be part of a skilled and supportive Workshop team
  • Opportunity to use and develop your fitting and machining skills
  • Home every night - no FIFO or remote work
  • Work for a business that values safety, reliability and getting the job done properly
