Job summary

Crossmuller is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our Engineering team in Oberon, NSW. This is a permanent, full-time on-site role within a busy hands-on environment.

You will be competent in all aspects of structural steel fabrication, interpret detailed shop drawings and specifications, and support apprentices to ensure proper training and safety. A pre-employment medical will be conducted.

• Qualified Boilermaker with trade qualification
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Structural Steel Fabrication

• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

• Maintain housekeeping standards, tools and equipment

Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

The Role

We are currently seeking qualified Boilermakers to join our Engineering team based in Oberon NSW. The role is a permanent full-time position.

The successful applicant will have:

• Completed their qualification and be competent in all aspects of their trade
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Structural Steel Fabrication
• Ability to interpret detail shop drawings and specifications.
• Support and supervise apprentices to ensure appropriate training is received
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality of finished works
• Experience working in a busy hands‑on environment
• Enthusiasm and the ability to multi‑task
• Great communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
• Maintain housekeeping standards, tools and equipment

The following will be considered an advantage, but not essential for this position:

• Basic dogging or rigging certification
• Hold EWP and Working at Heights certification
• Experience operating overhead cranes
