Coastal Group Engineering delivers heavy vehicle and industrial engineering solutions based in Warnervale, Central Coast. We are seeking two experienced Boilermaker / Fabricators to join our team on a full-time basis, with a well-equipped workshop and new facility planned for late 2026.

Join a team of engineers and tradespeople delivering fabrication, welding, and custom engineering projects across heavy vehicle components, with opportunities for overtime and long-term employment in a locally

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Boiler making/Fabrication (highly preferred, however extensive relevant experience will also be considered).
• Experience with truck body building and heavy vehicle fabrication is highly regarded.
• Strong proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
• WHS requirements and safe work practices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performing welding, cutting and fabrication using a range of techniques and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Fabricating and welding structural steel, heavy vehicle components and custom assemblies.
• Completing repairs, modifications and custom fabrication projects as required.
• Operating workshop machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Applying practical problem-solving skills to fabrication and repair challenges.
• Working collaboratively with engineers, tradespeople and other team members.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and workplace safety.
• Accurately documenting completed work, repairs and inspections.

With continued growth and exciting developments ahead, we are seeking two experienced and motivated Boilermaker / Fabricators to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Performing welding, cutting and fabrication using a range of techniques and equipment

About You

Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Reliable, punctual and team-oriented

Forklift licence (desirable but not essential), or willingness to obtain

Strong understanding of WHS requirements and commitment to safe work practices
