Job summary

Jobstar Pty LTD in Caboolture is seeking a seasoned Metal Fabricator/Sheetmetal worker/Fitter/Welder. You must be trade qualified with at least 2 years of experience and able to read workshop drawings.

The role involves workshop and on-site work, with a full-time roster that includes some weekends and night shifts. Candidates should have own transport and a positive work ethic, with the ability to work unsupervised as part of a team and contribute diverse heavy metal trade skills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified metal fabricator with at least 2 years' experience and ability to read workshop drawings.
• Be prepared to work in a workshop and on site as required.
• Full-time position with rostered weekends and some night work.
• Must have own transport and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret workshop drawings to fabricate metal components.
• Fabricate, fit, and weld parts to required specs.
• Work in a metal fabrication workshop and on site as needed.

Job description

Experienced and motivated Metal Fabricator/Sheetmetal worker/Fitter/Welder required in a well-established Metal Fabrication Business in Caboolture.

Successful applicant must be a trade qualified metal fabricator with at least 2 years trade experience and be able to read workshop drawings.

• Be prepared to work in a workshop and on site as required.
• Full-time position but needs to be flexible with hours. Essential to be available for some rostered weekends and night work.
• Have a good attitude and work ethics.
• Must be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Have a diverse range of heavy metal trade experience and knowledge. Would be beneficial to have some fitting experience also.
• Must have own transport
• Current Working at Heights and EWP ticket and/or a forklift license would be of an advantage
