Job summary

Vancisco Industries in Beaudesert, QLD is seeking a Boilermaker with proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with the workshop supervisor at the Beaudesert workshop, with occasional site visits across Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.

Key duties include reading technical drawings, passing a Mig/Stick weld test to ISO 9606-1, and setting up and operating welding machines, drills and grinders while ensuring quality conformance.

Qualifications

• Experience reading workshop drawings and production schedules.
• Ability to pass welding test (Mig/Stick) to ISO 9606-1.
• Current QLD Driver Licence.
• Construction Safety Induction Card (Blue/White Card) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.
• Pass a weld test with Mig & Stick to ISO 9606-1 standards.
• Set up and operate hand and power tools, such as welding machines, drill press, grinders, band saw, compound saw.
• Examine work for defects and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

Job description

Due to a strong increase in projects, we need a Boilermaker with proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with the workshop supervisor, you will be based at the workshop in Beaudesert; however, you may be required to attend job sites, predominantly in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.

Key responsibilities

Read technical drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications

Pass a weld test with Mig & Stick to ISO 9606-1 standards

Set up and operate hand and power tools, such as welding machines, drill press, grinders, band saw, compound saw

Examine work for defects and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications

About you

Construction Safety Induction Card (Blue/White Card) (or willingness to obtain)

Current QLD Driver Licence Mandatory

Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
