Job summary

Jobstar Pty LTD on the Sunshine Coast (QLD) is seeking an experienced metal fabricator/welder to join our team. You will fabricate structural steel components and perform MIG welding per project drawings.

The role is five days a week with possible Saturday mornings and OT. You should read shop drawings, follow directions, work safely in a team, and have reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fabrication experience in structural steel / metal work.
• Bare Wire 1.2 mm (GMAW) Mig welding.
• Experienced in reading work shop drawings.
• Follow direction and work safely in team work environment.
• Must be reliable with stable work history and a positive attitude to work.
• Must have reliable transport means to get to work.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel and metal components per project specs.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and follow directions.
• Work five days per week with possible Saturday mornings and OT.

We are a Metal Fabrication business on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, supplying Structural Steel components to South East Queensland construction projects – Residential, Commercial and Industrial.

Applicants to have good experience in Metal fabrication and welding. Must be able to read shop drawings and follow general directions.

5 Days per week – Possible Saturday mornings and possible daily OT.
