Job summary

Rimex Wheel, a world leader in earthmover wheels and rims, seeks an experienced Boilermaker in Australia. The role focuses on safe, high-quality fabrication with attention to detail and the ability to work with limited supervision.

You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting our growing business. Ideal candidates are self-driven, organized, and possess strong time management, communication skills, and a CAN-DO attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified boilermaker with experience in metal fabrication.
• Proficient in Submerged Arc Welding (SAW).
• Forklift licence and ability to operate manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Examine drawings and specifications to determine materials and equipment.
• Cut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal to fabricate parts.
• Heat treat metal parts and components.
• Set up and operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or CNC machines.
• Assemble parts by welding, bolting or riveting.
• Inspect equipment prior to startup for malfunctions.
• Report safety concerns to Rimex supervisor.
• Carry out duties timely and professionally.
• Manual lifting.
• Drilling and tapping.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Boilermaker to join our team and become part of our growing business. Responsibilities

• Examine detailed and interpret drawing and specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements
• Cut, roll, shaper, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
• Heat treat metal parts & components
• Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled machines
• Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting or riveting
• Inspect all equipment prior to startup for malfunction or potential malfunction
• Bring to the attention of a Rimex representative any situation which is of concern or safety related
• Carry out all works in a timely and professional manner
