Qualifications

We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join a busy fabrication team based in Penrith.

This role involves working primarily with stainless steel and structural metalwork, fabricating and welding components for a major stadium project, including handrails and other architectural metalwork.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Boilermaker/Welder with strong experience across TIG, MIG and Stick welding, excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high‑quality fabrication and weld finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG and Stick welding on stainless steel and metal components.


• Fabricate and weld stainless steel handrails, structural components and architectural metalwork.


• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.


• Measure, cut, fit and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.


• Complete fabrication, assembly and finishing work to project specifications.


• Ensure welds and finished products meet required quality standards.


• Use workshop tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.


• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.


• Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet project deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker / Welder.


• Strong experience with TIG, MIG and Stick welding.


• Experience working with stainless steel fabrication.


• Experience with handrails, architectural metalwork or structural fabrication is highly regarded.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.


• Strong fabrication, fitting and welding skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.


• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Relevant trade qualifications preferred.
