Express Employment Professionals – Penrith NSW seeks an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join a busy fabrication team in Penrith. You will weld stainless steel and structural components for a major stadium project, focusing on handrails and architectural metalwork.

Strong TIG, MIG and Stick welding skills and meticulous workmanship are essential. The role offers weekday hours, ongoing work, and an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile construction project in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Boilermaker/Welder with TIG/MIG/Stick experience.
• Experience in stainless steel fabrication and architectural metalwork is valued.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG and Stick welding on stainless steel and metal components.
• Fabricate and weld handrails, structural components and architectural metalwork.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Complete fabrication, assembly and finishing work to project specs.
• Ensure welds and finished products meet quality standards.
• Use workshop tools safely and effectively and maintain a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet deadlines.
