Job summary

Workfast is seeking an experienced Welder/Boilermaker to join our manufacturing and distribution team in Penrith. You will fabricate and weld components for industrial moulds, interpret technical drawings, and support factory equipment with overhead cranes.

A trade qualification or proven experience is essential, along with the ability to work safely and independently or with a team. Competitive hourly rates plus penalties and super are offered, with an immediate start and long-term career

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified or highly experienced Welder/Boilermaker in manufacturing.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding (steel & aluminium preferred).
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Experience with overhead cranes and a range of power/hand tools.
• Computer literacy essential for reporting and production tracking.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components for industrial moulds and products.
• Read technical drawings to ensure precise assemblies.
• Perform structural repairs and modifications to factory equipment.
• Use overhead cranes for material positioning.
• Assist with fit-out of products using hand and power tools.
• Complete production paperwork and digital logs accurately.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production to streamline processes.

• Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

What You Need
