Job summary

OC Motor Repairs is seeking a capable Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy accident repair operation. You will oversee daily delivery, support the team, and ensure high-quality repairs while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers, customers and senior management, monitoring targets and MI, and resolving issues with professionalism. A strong emphasis on HR administration and workshop standards is essential for a productive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bodyshop supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with BSI.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful business relationships.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Clear communication skills face to face, by telephone and in writing.
• Strategic planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Computer literacy with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to produce reports to a high standard.

• Centre Efficiency: Oversee the efficient running of the accident repair centre
• Commercial Performance: Support and sustain company profitability
• Supplier Relationships: Maintain effective supplier relationships and negotiate confidently
• Workshop Standards: Manage workshop discipline and maintain professional standards across the team
• Work Allocation: Delegate work effectively to maintain service levels
• Customer Service: Ensure customers receive an efficient and satisfactory service
• HR Administration: Maintain staff records and manage HR-related matters
• Target Monitoring: Actively monitor progress against targets
• Management Information: Maintain daily MI figures and report issues promptly to senior management
• Customer Resolution: Handle complex customer enquiries and complaints
