Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in an automotive repair centre or workshop.
• Strong budget, workforce efficiency and quoting management skills.
• Knowledge of insurer processes, repair cycles, parts procurement and estimating systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional presentation.
• Demonstrated WHS awareness and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a high-performing team across production, estimating, customer support, detailing and apprentices.
• Manage team performance through structured practices such as team meetings and 1:1s.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard and workforce planning.
• Drive safety, accountability and continuous improvement ensuring WHS and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure repairs are scheduled, resourced and completed to targets.
• Oversee daily job flow of estimating, repair, painting and QA processes.
• Manage site operations to achieve revenue, margin, efficiency and profit targets.
• Deliver a premium customer experience from drop-off to pick-up.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Repair Centre Manager to oversee the daily workflow and manage the team in delivering exemplary customer service without compromising on compliance and standards. The Repair Centre Manager will drive a high-performance culture and ensure repairs are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a high-performing team of production, estimating, customer support, detailing, and apprentices to elevate and maintain the highest service and quality standards.
• Manage team performance through consistent and structured practices such as team meetings and 1:1's
• Partner with HR and relevant teams to get the best results when recruiting and ensure the onboarding and subsequent workforce plans are implemented and supported
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the site whilst ensuring full compliance with WHS, EPA, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all repairs are scheduled, resourced, and completed to meet agreed targets
• Oversee daily job flow of estimating, repair, painting, and final QA processes
• Operational management of the site to achieve revenue, margin, efficiency, profit targets
• Delivery of a premium customer experience from drop-off to pick-up

About you

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an automotive repair centre or workshop
• Strong commercial understanding and experience managing budgets, workforce efficiency and quoting
• Knowledge of insurer processes, repair cycles, parts procurement, and estimating systems
• Strong written and verbal communication and professional presentation
• Demonstrated WHS awareness and safety leadership
• Qualifications in automotive repair, management or business are highly regarded as are experience in job management systems, and understanding of PCM and ARC
