Western General Bodyworks in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Panel Shop Manager to coordinate the workshop, manage staff and drive business growth. You will oversee quotations, invoicing, and workflow, while building strong insurer and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in automotive workshop management.
• Personal smash repair knowledge (panel beating, spray painting, car parts, etc.).
• Previous experience in estimation.
• Experience in using Audanet and IBODY are highly advantageous.

About the Manager's role:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Management of workshop staff;

Daily workshop scheduling;

Management of quotations and invoicing processes;

Liaising with insurers, suppliers and assessors while maintaining good working relationships; and

Ensuring workflow of vehicles in the repair process.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
