Job summary

Western General Bodyworks is seeking an experienced Panel Shop Manager to coordinate workshop operations and help grow the business by building relationships with customers and insurers.

The role covers workshop staff management, scheduling, quotations, invoicing, insurer liaison, and ensuring a smooth repair flow across the network; three years in automotive workshop management and hands-on smash repair knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience in automotive workshop management.
• Personal smash repair knowledge (panel beating, spray painting, car parts, etc.).
• Previous experience in estimation.
• Previous experience in using Audanet and IBODY is highly advantageous.

About the Manager's role:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Management of workshop staff;

Daily workshop scheduling;

Management of quotations and invoicing processes;

Liaising with insurers, suppliers and assessors while maintaining good working relationships; and

Ensuring workflow of vehicles in the repair process.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
