Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Sydney Services team is seeking a seasoned Building Management System (BMS) Service Engineer to install, maintain and optimise BMS across premier customer sites in Sydney.

You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor, diagnosing faults, programming and commissioning control strategies while developing strong client relationships and delivering safe, high-quality service to energy-efficient buildings.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Building Management Systems, HVAC controls, automation, instrumentation or industrial controls.
  • Qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Controls, Instrumentation or related discipline.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with commissioning, programming or service delivery within building automation environments.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Job description

At Schneider Electric, our Digital Buildings business is transforming the way customers manage their buildings and optimise energy performance. Our team is eager to welcome an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Service Engineer to join our Sydney Services team.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor across a diverse portfolio of customers spanning commercial offices, healthcare, education, infrastructure, data centres, defence and critical environments. This is a highly visible customer-facing role where you’ll use your technical expertise to deliver exceptional service outcomes while helping customers improve reliability, efficiency and sustainability.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are the same. As a BMS Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and optimisation of building management systems across some of Schneider Electric’s premier customer sites throughout Sydney.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering effective technical solutions.

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience working with Building Management Systems, HVAC controls, automation, instrumentation or industrial controls.
  • Qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Controls, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Experience with commissioning, programming or service delivery within building automation environments.
