Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking experienced Service Representatives to join our Sydney-based team, delivering hands-on field service for a diverse customer portfolio including hospitals, utilities and data centers. You will perform installations, maintenance, repairs and ad-hoc tasks, collaborating with technical colleagues to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration, a current driver’s licence and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Certificate III Airconditioning and Refrigeration qualification is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple teams and work autonomously.
• Strong HS&E commitment and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of field service tasks across Sydney and broader NSW.
• Coordinate and execute installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, and ad-hoc tasks with the team.
• Commissioning, site testing, system upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support and specialist advice to a broad customer base.
• Document service activities, maintenance reports and repair logs.
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings based on customer needs.

The Team

Our Services team provides 24/7 servicing for: hospitals, utilities, data centers and just about everything in-between. Our team is growing and we are currently seeking experienced Service Representatives to be based in Sydney where you will play a hands‑on role to perform a variety of field service tasks in support of a diverse range of expanding Customer assets.

This exciting new career opportunity will see you:

• Completing a variety of field service tasks across the Sydney area and broader NSW region
• Collaborating with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex; installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad-hoc tasks
• Commissioning, site testing, system upgrades and ad-hoc troubleshooting
• Providing technical support and specialist advice to a broad Customer base
• Acting as a role model in relation to relevant HS&E requirements and adhere to other internal processes
• Documenting service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and inventory management
• Identifying new opportunities to expand service offerings that focus on Customer requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Certificate III Airconditioning and Refrigeration
• Current Drivers License (we supply a Tool of Trade Vehicle!)
• Previous experience in a similar Field Service or Maintenance position
• Proven ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when required
• A technical aptitude and a digital mindset that is engaged in new technologies
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem-solver / trouble‑shooter
• Demonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risks
• Those with Electrical Licence or Refrigeration Handling Licence will be viewed favourably
