Job summary

Agri Talent Pty is seeking an experienced blueberry grower in Queensland to lead production programs, manage irrigation and fertigation, and optimise crop health and yield. The role involves coordinating with farm management, supporting nursery activities and driving improvements in growing practices.

The successful candidate will apply hands-on technical growing expertise, contribute to longer-term crop development, and thrive in a collaborative commercial blueberry operation in the Toowoomba

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in commercial blueberry production or a similar horticultural environment.
• Strong working knowledge of irrigation, fertigation, pruning, crop nutrition and pest and disease management.
• An understanding of crop health, plant development and seasonal growing requirements.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills, with a practical, hands-on approach.
• The confidence to make informed growing decisions and work collaboratively with farm teams.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join an established commercial blueberry operation within Queensland's Toowoomba Region. This hands-on role offers the chance to apply your technical growing expertise, influence crop performance and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.

Duties

Plan and deliver blueberry production programs, including pruning, irrigation, fertigation, crop nutrition and crop protection. Support nursery management, plant establishment and ongoing crop development. Monitor crop health, anticipate seasonal challenges and make informed decisions to optimise quality and yield. Skills & Experience
