Job summary

Agri Talent Pty is seeking a seasoned Farm Manager for a premier blueberry operation in Mundubbera, Queensland. This hands-on leadership role blends practical growing expertise with operational oversight to drive production performance.

You will oversee pruning, irrigation, fertigation, crop nutrition and crop protection, coordinate daily farm activities, lead teams, and plan for seasonal needs to support quality and yield. Excellent salary package based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial blueberry production or related horticulture.
• Understanding of irrigation, fertigation, crop nutrition, pruning and pest/disease management.
• Experience coordinating farm operations, people and seasonal production activities.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence making operational decisions and taking ownership of farm performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee blueberry production programs, including pruning, irrigation, fertigation, crop nutrition and crop protection.
• Coordinate daily farm operations, nursery management, labour and resources to support production and harvest requirements.
• Lead and develop farm teams, promoting effective communication, accountability and safe work practices.
• Plan ahead for seasonal requirements, making informed decisions to support crop health, quality and yield.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and contribute to longer-term farm planning and development.
