Job summary

BWE Drilling is seeking a hands-on Drill & Blast Operator to join our Perth-based team in Western Australia. You will contribute to daily productivity targets, interpret blast specs, assist with drill rig upkeep and help every stage of blasting operations while upholding strict safety standards.

We value current WA Shotfirer's Licence, DGSC, HR/HRL licences and a clean police clearance. Competitive hourly rates, 2/2 rosters from Perth and supportive team culture are on offer.

Qualifications

Blast Hole Drilling experience operating a T45.
Knowledge of blasting safety standards and compliance.
Ability to interpret blasting specifications and maintain safety records.

Responsibilities

Achieve daily drill productivity targets.
Interpret site plans and blasting specifications.
Assist in the upkeep of drill rigs.
Plan, prepare and execute blasting activities in line with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records including explosive usage and blast reports.
Work with site teams to deliver safe blasting outcomes.
