Job summary

MACA is seeking a Blast Hole Driller to join one of its established, high-performing Drill & Blast teams across WA mine sites. You will operate rigs safely and efficiently while achieving daily production targets.

The role requires experience in a production mining environment, a current Manual WA driver’s licence, and strong communication skills. Additionally, competitive rates, a $2500 sign-on bonus, and various employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production mining open pit environment.
• Current Manual WA driver’s licence.
• HR licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drill holes to the right depth and angle as per the drill plan.
• Conduct daily pre‑start checks and report any equipment issues.
• Adjust drilling based on ground conditions.
• Follow all safety rules and site procedures.
• Work closely with Shotfirers and Supervisors to achieve accurate drill patterns.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ground conditions and drilling techniques.
