Job summary

SMW Drilling Services Pty Ltd – Mudgee NSW is seeking Blasthole Drillers to join our operations across the Hunter Valley and Mudgee regions. This role offers a 7/7 roster, DIDO meals and accommodation, and the opportunity to work within a professional drilling operation on established open-cut mines.

Applicants with transferable drilling experience are welcome, with preference for those who can pass NSW medical screening and hold a C Class driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass an Order 45 NSW Medical (including D&A screening)
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and site compliance
• Ability to work within a team-focused production environment

• Operate blast hole drill rigs safely and efficiently.

About the Role

SMW Drilling Services is seeking Blasthole Drillers to join our operations across the Hunter Valley and Mudgee regions.

This is an opportunity to work within a high-performing drilling team on established open-cut mining operations. You will be responsible for operating blast hole drill rigs safely and efficiently, contributing to consistent production outcomes.

Experienced drillers are preferred; however, applicants with transferable drilling experience and the right attitude will be considered.

About You

Essential

• Ability to pass an Order 45 NSW Medical (including D&A screening)

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence

• Strong commitment to safety and site compliance

• Ability to work within a team-focused production environment

Highly Regarded

• Previous open-cut blast hole drilling experience

• Experience on Redrill, CAT or Sandvik D50i platforms

• Background in exploration, water bore, top hammer or DTH drilling

• Mechanically minded with basic maintenance capability
