Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group in Brighton, NY is seeking a motivated Bistro Attendant to join our hospitality team. You will serve food and beverages, assist in setup and closing, and help maintain a clean, inviting Bistro area while delivering a great guest experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

We offer competitive compensation at 16 USD per hour plus potential tips, with benefits for eligible full-time staff and hotel room discounts across our locations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months related experience; GED or high school diploma.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the set-up and closing of the Bistro using the provided checklists.
• Input orders into cash register and secure accurate payment.
• Prepare and serve non-griddle items using the Turbo Chef as needed.
• Prepare and serve Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare coffee of the day and specialty drinks such as latte or cappuccino.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures.
• Complete daily inventory prep sheet.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Bistro and surrounding areas.
• Complete bussing and sidework responsibilities.
• Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
• Stock and replenish inventory displays for guest purchase.
• Assist in the set-up and servicing of the meeting room as needed.
• Provide safe transportation to all guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle as needed.
