Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty Ltd is seeking a BIM Engineer to support building and station infrastructure projects in Parramatta, Sydney. The role focuses on coordinating architectural, structural, civil, MEP and specialist models to deliver accurate federated information.

You will review models, perform clash checks, support BIM execution plans and maintain data environments, connecting workflows across planning, procurement and installation.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering, construction, or related field.

BIM Engineer - Building and Station Infrastructure

About the Employer

Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport, civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design, construction and project delivery in Australia.

The Opportunity

Support digital modelling and coordinated project information for a major station and integrated building development in Parramatta. You will bring designers, engineers, consultants and construction teams together around accurate multidisciplinary models.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, MEP and specialist models and maintain federated information.
• Review models, run clash checks and help resolve design and constructability issues.
• Support BIM execution plans, model standards, information requirements and deliverable exchanges.
• Maintain common data environments and perform model audits and information validation.

Requirements

Skills, Education and Requirements

• Ideally a degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Building Services or Digital Engineering.
• BIM, digital engineering or design coordination experience in construction or engineering, including multidisciplinary models.
• Understanding of BIM methods, information management, clash detection, model reviews and design-construction interfaces.
• Experience with BIM execution plans, common data environments and collaboration platforms.
• Effective coordination and communication with design and delivery teams.
• Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD or similar software experience is highly regarded.
