Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support a major Sydney transport project. You will coordinate digital design information, federate models, and lead clash detection while working with the digital engineering team and construction professionals.

The role emphasizes model coordination, QA/QC, and automation to streamline information management and delivery. This position offers on-site work in Sydney with exposure to large-scale infrastructure

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in BIM, digital engineering or design coordination.
• Qualification in engineering, architecture, construction or BIM.
• Practical multidisciplinary model coordination, federation, clash detection and QA/QC skills.
• Proficiency with Revizto, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud, plus knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, 12d or Civil 3D.
• Understanding of ISO 19650, common data environments and information management.
• Clear stakeholder communication, initiative and responsibility for closing coordination actions.
• Dynamo, Power BI, Python or other automation experience is useful.

Responsibilities

• Federate architectural, structural, civil and building-services models and check their quality and submission readiness.
• Lead model reviews, clash coordination and resolution workshops, then track agreed actions to closure.
• Maintain project information and coordination workflows using ACC, Revizto and related platforms.
• Support quantities, visualisation, 4D planning and asset information when required.
• Investigate technical issues, recommend solutions and escalate significant quality or delivery risks.
• Help implement digital standards and improve shared workflows through automation and new technology.

Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport, civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design, construction and project delivery in Australia.

The Opportunity

Help coordinate digital design information for a major multidisciplinary transport infrastructure project in Sydney. You will work with the Digital Engineering Manager, designers and construction teams to bring models together, identify interface issues and keep information ready for project submissions.

Your Responsibilities

• Federate architectural, structural, civil and building-services models and check their quality and submission readiness.

• Proficiency with Revizto, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud, plus working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, 12d or Civil 3D.
