Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator in Sydney to lead BIM coordination across aviation, infrastructure, and data centre projects. You’ll manage multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, and consultant model exchanges while supporting BIM standards and digital delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Architecture or related field, 3–7 years’ BIM coordination experience, advanced Revit skills, and familiarity with Navisworks.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Design or related discipline.
• 3-7 years’ experience in BIM coordination or design delivery.
• Advanced Revit skills and experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Experience using Navisworks Manage or similar coordination software.
• Strong understanding of consultant coordination and project delivery workflows.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, CDE processes and information management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination across complex Aviation, Infrastructure and Data Centre projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection and consultant model exchanges.
• Support project teams with BIM standards, workflows and information requirements.
• Set up and manage project models within Revit.
• Conduct model reviews and coordination workshops, identifying and resolving design issues.
• Support digital handover and project information requirements.
• Provide Revit and BIM support to project teams and contribute to improving BIM standards, templates and digital delivery processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, accurate and coordinated project information.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a tier 1 architecture practice in Sydney.

You’ll work across complex Aviation, Infrastructure and Data Centre projects, playing a key role in BIM coordination, clash detection, model management and digital delivery throughout the design process.

Working closely with architects, engineers, consultants and project teams, you’ll help coordinate multidisciplinary models, maintain BIM standards and ensure high-quality project information and deliverables.

You’ll be an experienced BIM and design delivery professional with strong technical capability and a passion for coordinating complex projects.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Design or a related discipline.
• Around 3-7 years’ experience in BIM coordination or design delivery.
• Advanced Revit skills and experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Experience using Navisworks Manage or similar coordination software.
• Strong understanding of consultant coordination and project delivery workflows.
• Experience with BIM standards, templates and digital delivery processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, CDE processes and information management would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
