A leading infrastructure consortium in Sydney is seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of key metro stations in a transformative project. The successful candidate will manage BIM workflows, coordinate between teams, and aid in digital handover. Qualifications

  • Experience on complex infrastructure or building projects involving structural and MEP elements.
  • Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage BIM-based planning.
  • Knowledge of digital engineering and as-built data processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM workflows and manage model updates.
  • Support subcontractor coordination to resolve clashes.
  • Assist with drawing extraction and model-based construction support.
  • Track and check digital files during the as-built phase.
  • Perform model audits and updates to ensure compliance.

The Opportunity: BIM Coordinator - Sydney CBD with site visits Western Sydney

You will support station delivery works across the Northern Stations on the Western Sydney Airport project. You will assist both the site delivery team with the As-Built model updates, coordination workflows, and supporting the as-built digital handover process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM workflows and manage model updates via Revizto and ACC for North Stations
  • Support subcontractor coordination using federated models to identify and resolve clashes
  • Assist with drawing extraction, quantity take-offs, and model-based construction support
  • Track, transfer, and check digital files during the as-built phase in collaboration with the BIM Manager
  • Perform model audits, updates, and ensure compliance with project BIM standards
  • Promote effective use of BIM tools across site teams and help resolve coordination issues
  • Support digital handover documentation and data set accuracy

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience on complex infrastructure or building projects involving structural and MEP elements
  • Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage BIM-based planning
  • Knowledge of digital engineering and as-built data processes
  • Proficient in Revizto, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across site and digital teams
