Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a Business Development Executive to cover the Newcastle and Port Stephens region in NSW. You will grow distribution and sales with independent liquor and grocery customers, delivering strong execution and value for the brand portfolio.

You’ll develop relationships, plan territory activity and work with a high-performing sales team to achieve targets and drive business impact across one of Australia’s leading beverage portfolios.

Qualifications

• Relevant sales experience in FMCG, retail, hospitality or another B2B environment.
• Strong ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisation and territory planning abilities.
• Commercial thinking with growth focus.
• Proactive, resilient and results‑driven mindset.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence.
• Current RSA or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales, distribution and market share across Independent Liquor and Grocery customers.
• Manage a territory comprising roughly 90% Independent Liquor and 10% Independent Grocery accounts.
• Execute promotional activity, pricing, ranging and tailored sales programs.
• Identify opportunities to increase distribution and profitability within existing customers.
• Build long-term partnerships through regular face-to-face customer engagement.
• Analyse customer performance and use insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage territory through planning, reporting and CRM usage.
• Deliver exceptional execution across a leading beverage portfolio.
