Job summary

Asahi Beverages Group is seeking a hands-on Business Development Executive to grow the Away From Home territory, build a pipeline, qualify leads and strengthen customer relationships across metro Perth.

This 12-month fixed-term contract covers parental leave and offers a field-based role within a dynamic sales team. You will help expand distribution, volume and brand presence while working closely with customers and the sales function.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or a customer-facing commercial role.
• Evidence of generating new business and qualifying leads.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
• Structured approach to planning, follow-up and pipeline management.
• Resilience and sound judgement when dealing with rejection or competing priorities.
• FMCG, beverage, foodservice, hospitality supply or field-sales experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and approach prospective customers across your territory - metro Perth.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new-business opportunities.
• Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, opportunity potential and fit.
• Plan and manage follow-up activity to move opportunities forward.
• Build credible, long-term customer relationships through relevant and practical sales conversations.
• Work independently in the field while contributing to a connected Away From Home sales team.
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunity information using the agreed sales tools.
• Support growth in distribution, volume, profitability and brand presence.
