Job summary

W Sydney is casting for a Waiting Talent - In Room Dining to deliver the signature Whatever/Whenever service, creating memorable dining experiences in guest rooms with professionalism and a personalized touch.

You will take and fulfill In Room Dining orders, coordinate with Culinary and Bars, maintain hygiene standards, handle cash per company standards, and play a key role in delivering luxury guest service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service that is engaging, attentive, and tailored to each guest's individual needs.
• Accurately take and process In Room Dining orders, ensuring all special requests, dietary requirements, and guest preferences are communicated and fulfilled.
• Prepare, deliver, and present beverage and food orders to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner, maintaining W Hotels' luxury service standards.
• Set up and clear In Room Dining trays, trolleys, and service equipment efficiently while maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest corridors, pantries, and work areas.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, beverage selections, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently assist guests with recommendations and upselling opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Culinary, Bars, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless order delivery and an exceptional guest experience.
• Ensure all cash handling, billing, and room charge procedures are completed accurately in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and workplace cleanliness at all times.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through the delivery of personalized service.

As a Waiting Talent - In Room Dining, you will play a key role in delivering the signature Whatever/Whenever® service that defines the W Hotels experience.
