Job summary

Fluence, a global energy storage leader, seeks a Site Manager to lead the construction of BESS projects in Australia. You will drive on-site delivery, manage schedule, budget, safety, and interface with project teams to exceed stakeholder expectations.

This 12-month contract reports to Fluence's Senior Construction Manager/Director of Construction. You will coordinate HV electrical installations, earthworks, mechanical and electrical cabling, and ensure smooth handover to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HV electrical projects over $200M.
• Prior exposure to Tier 1 organisations; AGL project experience is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in construction planning and interface with project site teams to minimize risk and maximize performance.
• Coordinate on-site construction activities for BESS installation including earthworks, civil works, grounding, mechanical installation, cabling, pre-commissioning, and punch list close-out.
• Work with Fluence commissioning team to ensure smooth handover of construction to commissioning activities.
• Provide daily feedback on construction progress and weekly reports to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and promote a strong HSE culture on site.
• Familiarise with Fluence BESS equipment manuals and procedures.
• Coordinate with client teams and internal stakeholders to meet contractual obligations.
