Job summary

Fluence Energy is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale BESS projects in Australia. The role focuses on on-site leadership, schedule adherence, budget control, and proactive risk management across one or more projects.

You will coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical works, align with commissioning teams, and ensure strict health and safety practices while delivering on-time, on-budget results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HV electrical projects >$200 million.
• Proven track record with Tier 1 organisations; AGL project exposure is a plus.
• Strong leadership and on-site safety focus.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction planning and site team leadership to minimise risk and maximize performance.
• Coordinate all on-site BESS installation activities (earthworks, civil works, mechanical/electrical cabling, pre-commissioning).
• Collaborate with Fluence commissioning team for smooth handover to commissioning.
• Provide daily progress feedback and weekly reports to project management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and foster safety culture.
