Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a BESS Field Service Technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on battery energy storage systems and associated HV/MV/LV equipment. The role requires HV switching experience, strong electrical safety knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

You will travel to project sites, support commissioning activities, and work with internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Current A-Class Electrician Licence with HV experience.
• Experience in energy, renewable energy, engineering, or battery storage sectors.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, service manuals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and field service activities on BESS and HV/MV/LV systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct HV switching activities safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and support commissioning activities.
