Job summary

The Salvation Army in Sydney seeks a permanent, full-time Relationship Manager Gift in Wills to grow the Gifts in Wills portfolio across south Sydney with a hybrid work setup.

You will secure bequests, steward and empower potential bequestors, and build strong relationships with intermediaries such as solicitors while meeting financial targets and KPIs. You’ll also lead engagement plans and represent the charity at events.

Qualifications

• Experience in NFP fundraising or account management/sales environments.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex business environment.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience liaising with legal and finance professionals.
• Ability to engage high net worth individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of potential bequestors and grow the bequests portfolio to meet financial targets.
• Secure and manage relationships with bequestors and intermediaries such as solicitors.
• Achieve financial and non-financial targets and KPIs.
• Develop engagement strategies and communications plans.
• Represent The Salvation Army at events and progressing supporters through appeals.
