Job summary

Fenner Conveyors is seeking Conveyor Belt Technicians or Belt Splicers for their Hobart service team. You will install, repair and maintain conveyor belts across workshop and client sites, using strong technical knowledge and a safety-first approach.

A relevant trade qualification and proven belt experience are required. The Hobart team works on end-to-end conveyor solutions with a focus on service quality, teamwork and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in a related field.
• Proven experience as Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer in Trades/Services.
• Strong technical skills in conveyor belt systems including splicing, maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose issues.
• Safety-first mindset and passion for the industry.

About You:

As a result of our success, we are now inviting interest from experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians orBelt Splicers to join our Hobart Service team. You will be working with our Core Service crew, who respect you and your contributions to the team above all else. We are a results-oriented, family-oriented, and committed team!

You will have:

• Relevant Trade Qualification.
• Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer, ideally within the Trades and Services industry.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of conveyor belt systems, including splicing, maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
• A "safety-first" mindset and a passion for the industry.
• Valid Australian Driver’s License and Unlimited Australian Working Rights.

About the Role:

You’ll play a critical role in

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor belts.
• Diagnosing faults and implementing high-quality repair solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and advice to customers regarding conveyor belt selection, installation and operation.
• Working across both our workshop and various client sites.
