Job summary

Optimum Health Solutions in Canberra is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to children, adults and families.

You will conduct assessments, develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, and deliver interventions in home, community and school settings, collaborating with families, carers and other stakeholders to improve quality of life and community participation.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at Proficient level or above.
• Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.
• Experience conducting assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Calm, patient and solution-focused approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting people with disability and families.
