Job summary
FBA Care Pty Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team in Tottenham, Victoria. You will deliver behaviour support in the community, develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and train support staff to deliver person-centred care.
You will conduct assessments, analyse behaviours, and support implementation of strategies for NDIS participants. The role requires a Core Practitioner and an NDIS Behavior Support Practitioner ID, with a focus on professionalism
Qualifications
- Experience delivering behaviour support plans and PBSPs for NDIS participants.
- Ability to assess behaviours, develop strategies, and implement plans.
- Strong report writing and case notes documentation skills.
- Proven reliability, punctuality and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and analyse behaviours to develop PBSPs for participants.
- Support implementation of strategies, monitor progress and review outcomes.
- Deliver staff training on behaviour support procedures and PBSPs.
- Ensure practice aligns with NDIS goals and regulatory standards.
- Prepare reports and participate in NDIS plan reviews.
- Assist participants to build capacity, choice and control.
- Maintain high standards of ethics and professional conduct.
