Job summary

Climb Recruitment in Sydney seeks an exceptional Business Development Manager to drive new inflows into flagship private credit funds. You will expand the investor base, raise capital, and manage ongoing investor relations with a sophisticated audience.

The role requires a deep network of Family Offices, HNWIs, and boutique advisers, plus strong fixed income knowledge and outstanding presentation skills. Attractive remuneration and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in capital raising or funds distribution within private credit, real estate debt, private equity, or alternative asset management.
• Deep, current network of local Family Offices, HNWIs, wealth managers, and boutique advisory firms.
• Strong understanding of fixed income, credit risk, loan-to-value ratios (LVRs), senior-secured structures, and macroeconomic drivers affecting alternative assets.
• Exceptional presentation skills; ability to hold high-level financial conversations with sophisticated investors and principals.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or Economics are highly regarded.
• Trust, partnerships and relationships remain the foundation of successful distribution.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new capital inflows from Family Offices, HNWIs, Multi-Family Offices, and IFAs.
• Build a robust and scalable capital distribution pipeline.
• Act as the trusted point of contact for existing investors, providing regular portfolio updates, performance reports, and macroeconomic insights.
• Secure re-investments and manage capital rollover strategies.
• Present technical investment presentations on private credit structures, senior-secured debt strategies, and risk-adjusted yield profiles.
• Lead capital-raising campaigns for new fund launches or co-investment opportunities.
• Partner with internal Credit and Portfolio Management teams to translate complex credit data into digestible investor collateral.
