Job summary

Capstone Recruitment is seeking a Director, Private Capital (Real Estate Private Equity Fund Manager) in Sydney. This permanent role offers 300-350k base + 50-70% STI + LTI, with direct access to senior leadership and an opportunity to own a marquee private capital franchise.

You will manage wholesale capital raising, lead fundraising across funds and co-investments, and build UHNW/HNW relationships within a high-growth real estate platform.

Qualifications

• Must have proven wholesale capital raising in Australia.
• Strong network among UHNW/HNW and wealth managers in Sydney.
• Background in property, PE, funds management, wealth or IB.
• Confident communicator capable of selling a complex real estate product.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the private capital function end to end.
• Lead raises across the flagship fund series, co-investments and syndicates.
• Win new investors and deepen existing relationships.
• Front investor meetings, events and conferences.

This is a marquee hire for one of Australia's most highly regarded real estate private equity managers. The firm is backed by some of the most respected names in Australian property and has a strong track record investing across debt and equity. AUM has grown fast.

Its next phase of growth is focused on institutional capital, so it needs a senior capital raiser to take full ownership of the private client book: UHNW and HNW investors, family offices and quality wealth managers.

The role
