Job summary

Akaysha Energy pty is seeking a Battery Assets Engineer to help operate the Waratah Super Battery portfolio. You will support the Asset Management System, troubleshooting, and support design-to-operations handovers, aiming to maximise reliability and performance.

You will work in a hybrid role with a mix of office and site time, contributing to long-term planning and asset lifecycle improvements across Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Electrical/Power) or related field.
• Strong understanding of battery energy storage systems and power equipment.
• Experience with asset management and reliability-focused roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed our Asset Management System across a fleet of battery assets.
• Support technical troubleshooting and root cause investigations for operational issues.
• Bridge construction and operations by supporting design reviews, handovers, commissioning and readiness activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, OEMs and service providers to improve asset reliability and maintenance outcomes.
