Quarrico Products Pty Ltd in Moranbah, QLD, is seeking an experienced Batchplant Supervisor to support our Concrete Manager at the Coolibah Batch Plant and Porta-Batch operations. This role ensures smooth production, quality and safety across batching activities.

You will lead operators and drivers, coordinate raw materials, manage daily schedules and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and cost control, while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete production or batch plant supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems and production reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Proactive approach to operational efficiency and cost control.
• Hands-on experience with logistics coordination and raw material management.
• Front-End Loader experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with top-quality service.
• Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, addressing any concerns and providing solutions promptly.
• Manage daily batching operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of operators and drivers, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
• Oversee raw material stock control, ensuring optimal inventory levels and plant efficiency.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with our Quality Assurance System.
• Assist in the training and development of team members, enhancing their skills in batching and logistics.
• Coordinate with the Concrete Manager and other internal teams to optimize operations and meet customer needs.
• Support logistics and delivery coordination to ensure timely service.
