Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Batcher/Relief Agitator Driver based at the Airlie Beach Concrete Plant to mix concrete, support batching, and drive an agitator truck. Tasks include batching, loading, delivering concrete, and yard duties, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will operate a modern fleet, participate in stock management, and assist with purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards across daily operations.

Qualifications

• HR licence is required.
• White Card or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with SAP and batching systems, or willingness to learn.
• Experience ordering materials and maintaining stock levels.
• Strong customer communication and on-site professionalism.
• Good computer literacy and ability to follow processes.
• Safety-first attitude and keeping trucks clean.

Responsibilities

• Batching of Pre-Mixed Concrete, Allocating of customer jobs.
• Operating the front-end loader (if ticket/experience).
• Completing stock takes and pre-start checks.
• Loading and delivering concrete as an agitator driver.
• Yard duties including truck cleaning and site maintenance.
• Supporting purchasing activities.
• Ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed.
