Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Batcher/Relief Agitator Driver at our Airlie Beach Concrete Plant in Queensland. The role offers an hourly rate of $34–$36 with overtime opportunities and a 10-day training program for new starters.

Expect 45–55 hours weekly, with occasional Saturdays, and responsibilities spanning batching, agitator driving, loader work, and yard duties. You will operate well‑maintained trucks with safety tech, map routes, track loads, and support purchasing while maintaining

Qualifications

• Requires valid HR licence and White Card.
• Experience with SAP batching or willingness to learn.
• Experience ordering materials and maintaining stock levels.
• Ability to assist in plant maintenance and ensure readiness.

Responsibilities

• Batch Pre-Mixed Concrete and allocate customer jobs.
• Operate front-end loader if trained.
• Perform stock takes and pre-start checks.
• Load and deliver concrete as an agitator driver.
• Carry out yard duties and truck cleaning.
• Support purchasing activities and stock management.
• Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.
