Job summary

Knox Grammar School in Wahroonga, Sydney's North Shore, seeks an experienced Head of Basketball Development to lead the program across all year levels. You will shape training, develop players and coaches, and ensure high standards of performance and safety within the school’s basketball operations.

Working with the Director of Basketball and Head Coach, you will drive program improvement, foster a positive learning environment, and coordinate logistics and facilities to support student growth

Qualifications

• Basketball coaching experience at a high level.
• Association Coach Level 2 accreditation (or higher).
• Experience working with young athletes in school, representative or elite environments.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• The ability to inspire students and coaches to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continued development and improvement of the Knox Basketball program across all year levels and abilities.
• Create an engaging, positive and progressive learning environment.
• Support both student and coach development, basketball education, facilities and program performance.
• Promote collaboration, integrity, cooperation and teamwork.
• Operational & logistical support of the basketball program in the school.
