Job summary

Sydney Church of England Grammar School – Shore in North Sydney NSW is seeking dedicated basketball coaches to join our Prep School sporting programme on a seasonal, casual basis. The role includes coaching on Saturdays and helping shape the next generation of players.

We require NSW Working with Children clearance or willingness to obtain one, experience with young people, and a genuine passion for basketball. Flexible hours and an hourly rate are offered.

The role

You'll work with Prep School students on a seasonal, casual basis, ideally starting 9 September, with:

• Games: Saturday mornings

• Valid NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
• Basketball coaching or playing experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the school community
• Flexibility and adaptability in a busy, dynamic environment
• A genuine passion for basketball and for helping students grow as athletes and young people

Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia and hold (or be willing to obtain) a current NSW Working with Children clearance.
