Job summary

Knox Grammar School in Wahroonga, Sydney's North Shore, seeks an experienced Head of Basketball Development to lead the program across all year levels. You will shape training, develop players and coaches, and ensure high standards of performance and safety within the school’s basketball operations.

Working with the Director of Basketball and Head Coach, you will drive program improvement, foster a positive learning environment, and coordinate logistics and facilities to support student growth

Qualifications

• Basketball coaching experience at a high level.
• Association Coach Level 2 accreditation (or higher).
• Experience working with young athletes in school, representative or elite environments.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• The ability to inspire students and coaches to achieve their potential.

Job description

Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Basketball Development to help shape the future of our program and the young people within it. This is a Permanent Full-Time, Term Time + 6 Non-Term Weeks commencing Term 4 2026.

About The Role

Working closely with the Director of Basketball & Head Coach of Basketball the role of Head of Basketball Development will play an important role in the leadership, development and delivery of the Knox Basketball Program.
